Sa'diyya will be hosting the hottest new event in North Texas featuring a fresh, new face in the world of Bellydance: GINA of Atlanta, GA, the 2010 Bellydancer of the Universe Champion of Champions! Gina is an incredibly talented performer and instructor who has lived the life of a true, versatile dancer. Besides her immense talent, she is a personable, easy-going individual who is a delight to be around! If you have never seen her, you will surely add a new favorite to your list of top dancers.

"Tango Orientale"
Learn Orientale technique and combinations with Argentine tango styling inspired by Gina’s recent travel to Buenos Aires. Movement and speed qualities of the Argentine tango vary from smooth, pulsing, sharp, slow, fast, etc. These elemental qualities will be combined with the sensuality and softness of Orientale to culminate in a fusion choreography to a popular Argentine fusion favorite, “Tango Oriental Hikaya Malevo.”
"Latin-Jazz-Arab Fusion"
Learn Jazz and Latin dance-inspired combos to help you create your own fun fusion styling and choreographies. We will explore Cha Cha, Salsa, and Rumba styling combined with classical Jazz steps and Oriental movement to add some Latin spice to your bellydance! Featuring fantastic Latin-Arabic fusion music by Hanine y Son Cubano, Tres Mundos, and Horus Arab Music of Argentina!

Gina is an exceptional Oriental dance performer and instructor based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dancing since the age of nine, Gina has a strong background in ballet, jazz, modern, and musical theatre dance. She received her BFA in Dance and Theatre arts from East Carolina University. As a jazz dancer, she performed in every conceivable venue; from cruise ships to theme parks, dinner theatre to outdoor drama, concert stages to Las Vegas production shows. An unfortunate knee injury led to anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction in 1999, and it was upon completion of her own physical therapy that she became a certified Post-Rehab Pilates Practitioner. Gina’s fascination with Oriental dance began when she took her first “belly dance” class and was immediately hooked. She has since studied with notable American, Arabic, and European Oriental dancers. She is inspired by these artists as well as by her own ballet and jazz background.
Aside from performing, Gina brings abundant experience and diverse influences to her unique teaching style. Her connection with her audience makes her a sought-after performer and instructor, and has earned her respect from the Atlanta Persian and Arabic communities.
Gina’s elegant, refined style brings both passion and grace to any occasion. She performs in venues ranging from the intimate gathering to the large gala; from weddings and parties to corporate events and conventions. Gina also enjoys giving her time and talent to charity events hosted by organizations such as Partnership Walk and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
She is currently teaching and performing in Atlanta, as well as instructing workshop classes across the United States.

Elizabeth, also known as Sa'diyya, is a full time professional Bellydance performer and instructor from Frisco, Texas. She has been a part of this wonderful art form since 1996. Along with owning her businesses: her school, the North Texas School of World Dance and her entertainment agency, "Art of Bellydance by Sa'diyya", Elizabeth directs three award-winning performance companies, ranging from student to professional levels. She choreographs, directs and produces several staged shows a year with a cast of over 30 performers, and all the while maintains a full local and national performance schedule at the best venues and with the best producers around. Elizabeth has won many national awards including Bellydancer of the Year 2003 and 2007 First Place Winner at The Heart of Texas Bellydance Contest. She can be seen in several invitational performances of the International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance's DVD productions, and as well as being a featured dancer in several Cheeky Girls productions, including "By Dancers For Dancers Vol.6." and “Combination Nation Vol.2.”

NEWS FLASH!!!!
Gina just took home the Grand Champion prize at the 2010 Belly Dancer of the Universe Competition in Long Beach, CA! She won first place in the professional "Drum Solo" category, and then all the first place winners in all categories competed against one another in the "Champions of Champions" category. Gina won FIRST PLACE as CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS! Go GINA!
